Fernando Polls Gimeno  (Barcelona, 1989)  is  an  artist  working  across photography, sound, and video. While his practice spans various media, photography remains at its core. Over the past seven years, he has lived and worked between Spain and Germany.

In 2025, he won first prize at the Torrent Jove20 photography contest in Torrent   and   received   an   award   for   his   sound  piece  at the Music Hackathon  contest  hosted by  Sono·lab at 'Las Naves' cultural center in Valencia. In Leipzig, he was awarded the Denkzeit art scholarship for his experimental audio piece Neue Räume (2020)

His  latest work  explores  nature as a reflection of the human  condition, examining  life  within  forests and  the  interactions  we  have with them through photography and sound. In July (2024), the Alt-Iba9  Art Gallery
in  Barcelona  featured  an extensive  interview  with him on this subject, alongside seven photographs from various projects.

These  images  will  be  included  in  the  collectors  art  book''Interviews With Artists'' to be launched during the VIP opening of the ARCOmadrid
Art Fair 2025 and showcased throughout the fair (March 5–9). The book will   also   appear   at   ARCOlisboa   in  Portugal  (May 2025)   and     the
ArtsLibris International Fair of Artist Books  and  PhotoBooks at MACBA Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (November 2025).
