Fernando Gimeno Pol  (Barcelona, 1989)  is  a  visual  artist with a focus on photography  and  sound.  His work has been  published  and  exhibited  in several countries, including Germany, France, and England, to name a few.

In addition to his activity as a photographer,  he  is  also  recognized for his work  as  a  sound  producer.  His   music has  been  broadcasted  on  radio stations   and   shows    such  as  Paralelo  3  in  Barcelona,  HÖR  in  Berlin, Redlight Radio in Amsterdam, or Radio 8000 in Munich.

He  received  the  Denkzeit  artistic  production  grant  for his experimental sound piece   "Neue Räume"   in  Leipzig.  Shortly  afterward,  he started an ambitious   photographic and audiovisual   project in the same city entitled "Auwald." This work combines photography, sound, and video to represent time and the human condition.

In July (2024), the Alt-Iba9 Contemporary Art Gallery in Barcelona featured an  extensive   interview   with    him    on   this   subject,  alongside     seven photographs   from  various  projects.  These images will be included in the collectors' art book  ''Interviews With Artists'' to be launched during the VIP opening of the ARCOmadrid Art Fair 2025  and showcased throughout the fair (March 5–9). The book will also appear at ARCOlisboa in Portugal (May 2025) and the  ArtsLibris International Fair of Artist Books and PhotoBooks
at  MACBA  Museum of Contemporary Art in  Barcelona (November 2025).

He  won   first   prize  at the Torrent Jove20 photography contest in Torrent (2024) and received anaward for his sound piece at the  Music  Hackathon contest  hosted  by  Sono·lab  at   'Las Naves'   cultural   center   in Valencia.

Works such as "Red Light," which received critical acclaim from Ivory Press and  Makma,  stand out.  He  has  also  participated  in  exhibitions  such  as "Interiors"   curated   by   Aaron   Stern  (NY)   at     Der   Greif     in     Munich, or  "T.P.C"  curated  by  Matt  Martin  at  Urban  Spree  Galerie,  Berlin.
